Cannop Foundry

In December we were involved in assisting and supplying our expertise and equipment required for the move into a bigger and more modern foundry for Cannop Foundry Ltd

The plant consisted of:

• 3 x 3.2 tonne overhead Demag cranes and steelwork fully designed and installed by Foundry Machinery

• New VD9S attrition unit and fully enclosed dust hood,

• New TS8LR single arm sand mixer complete with fully automatic process control unit

• Mew TS10BC articulated sand mixer with fully automatic process control unit

• New 60 tonne purpose built sand silo with mechanical shake venting unit

• New3000cfm mechanical shake dust extractor

Along with the removal and re installation of:

• Existing silo

• Single arm sand mixer

• 3tph cold sand reclamation plant, water cooling tower & water pump, cooler classifier

• 3 x 5000cfm dust extractors

• Core machine

• Gassing generator

• Amine distribution pack

• New ductwork

• New blowing pipework

• New water pipe

• New sand infill pipes.
