60 tonnes per high speed sand mixer

Foundry Machinery have just supplied a TA60SC screw conveyor type articulated sand mixer to an oversea's customer

The mixer was purpose built to include the following specification:-

• 5000mm long (300mm diameter) screw type primary arm
• 2000mm long (300mm diameter mixer trough)
• Pneumatically operated cleanout guards on mixed sand outlet. This allows the safety bars to pneumatically operate backwards and forwards on a timer when the mixer is discharged
• Fully remote controlled operation to inlude powered indexing of arms, start and discharge
• Powered indexing on both the primary arm and mixer head
• 2000mm sand outlet height

The mixer was supplied for use on silicate, therefor it was downrated to 40 tonnes per hour
