The FMS Oilbath Gearbox

All FMS geared ladles use worm and wheel gear units, available in a range of sizes, for the rotation of the ladle.

This is a range of proven designs that utilises roller and ball bearings throughout to ensure that the gearbox gives perfect control at all times.

• Motorised Gearbox Option

Most FMS ladles can be fitted with a motorised gearbox for powered rotation.

The motor can be either electric or pneumatic depending on the customer's requirements.

All FMS Motorised ladles are fitted with a clutch release assembly that allows the ladle to be manually operated in the event of a power failure.
