FACILITIES

FMS have a large fabrication facility with the following capacity in house:-

• Profiling of 30mm mild steel plate using our CNC profiling machine
• Press braking of mild steel up to 3000mm long x 8mm thick
• Guillotining of mild steel up to 2500mm long x 8mm thick
• Extensive in house steel stock of plates and sections
• 8 x dedicated fabrication/welding bays (big enough to take large fabrications)
• 6 x Overhead cranes covering the entire workshop (ranging from 1.5t – 3.2t independently)
• 1 x CNC Band saw (up to 400 x 400 capacity)
• 1 x Manual Band saw (up to 150mm x 150mm capacity)
• 2 x Sets of powered rolls
• 4 x Pedestal drills
• 1 x 70t Universal steelworker
• 1 x Box & pan folder
• 2 x Bridport milling machines
• 1 x Colchester lathe
• 1 x Sand blasting cabinet
• 2 x Dryback spray booths

FMS also have a second facility next door to allow us to assemble and test machines built by FMS prior to shipment to customers throughout the world, in this department we also have a dedicated electrical control panel design and build area where we build and test our customers control panels using the latest technologies and PLC systems such as Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc…
